I don’t like to admit this to too many people but I really hate talking on the phone. I hate it to the point where it has sometimes hindered me from taking care of the things in life that I need to take care of. For example, I went for a long time without any sort of medical insurance because I didn’t want to go through the process of calling around for quotes.

It’s not that I particularly thought that the phone call would be difficult. I just wasn’t quite sure where to start. (For example, did I want health insurance Miami quotes or Medical insurance Florida quotes? I didn’t know and I didn’t want to deal with trying to figure it out. Plus, I figured that a health insurance company would try to sell me stuff that I didn’t need and I didn’t feel like dealing with that either.

Eventually, I was put into a position where I didn’t have much choice but to call Florida health insurance companies. I was working for an employer who asked that I get some quotes for Florida group health insurance plans for the company. So I sucked it up and made the calls. I got the information I needed and we all got health insurance. But I still didn’t like doing it! And don’t even get me started on disability insurance!
