Seeing Solutions Instead of Problems

The reality of life is that you are going to be faced with problems on a regular basis. It would be nice if we could just wish all of our problems away so that we never had to deal with them but that’s just not the case. However, we can make changes to our mindset that can almost make it seem as though problems do disappear.
The most important change that we can make is to alter our attitudes so that we’re always looking for solutions to any problem that arises. For example, let’s say that your doctor tells you that you have sleep apnea and that you need to use CPAP equipment to get better. You can either consider it a problem that you have sleep apnea or you can go out and look at CPAP machines or bipap equipment that will solve the problem.
Yes, a medical issue is a problem. But when we view it through the lens of finding a solution then we don’t stress out so much about the problem itself. We solve it and we move on with our lives. This type of thinking is applicable whether we get sick, have romantic heartache or face stress at work. Searching for solutions will always reduce the size of problems in our lives.
