3. Boutique clothing tends to last longer. These are handmade pieces that are designed to last. I have a pettiskirt that I bought five years ago at a boutique store and it’s still in great condition!
4. You get the chance to get to know the salespeople. Sometimes you even get to meet the designer.
5. There are fewer crowds. You can go to a good sale at a boutique clothing store and it’s not going to be jampacked like it would be at the department stores.
6. Boutique clothing may be more affordable. It depends if you’re willing to shop around and attend sample sales but it can definitely be true.
7. In contrast, you can get more upscale clothing. Sometimes a boutique is a higher-end version of an existing department store in which case you pay more to get better, more unique clothing items from the designers that you love.
8. The events at these stores are great. They often have unique events like art openings or book readings in their stores which makes it more than just a clothing store.
