One of the most frustrating things about my wife is that she teases me about anything I buy.  For the most part, I don’t really spend a lot of money on anything, so I guess she takes advantage of what opportunities that are presented to her, but when it comes to me buying boat accessories, she really gives it to me.

I guess I can’t really blame her, considering we don’t have a boat, but I have a boat listed as one of my major purchases in my five year plan, so it just makes sense to me to buy the things that I will need when I do get the boat of my dreams.

Besides, I don’t make fun of her when she buys scrapbooking supplies or any of the five million (yes, a bit of an exaggeration) candles that we seem to have in our home.  I let her spend her money where she wants to, so I don’t see why she doesn’t let me do the same.

Looking at the things I have bought up to this point makes me feel like I am one step closer to having that boat of my dreams.  Thankfully, so far my patience has held out.
