My New Websites

I just recently bought several new domains to expand my website, and I am so excited! However, I have my work cut out for me, because right now they are nothing websites — they have no PageRank, no readers, no nothing.
So how do you go about building up a website? Here are some of the things I am planning to do:
- Post regularly. All of the domain names will be blogs, so I will be posting regularly. The search engines generally assign a higher search engine ranking to pages that are updated more frequently, so blogs really benefit here. And even if these were regular websites, I would still have a blog as part of the site.
- Distribute a press release to announce the launch of each one. I’m going to launch them all at least a few weeks apart, so that should give me plenty of time to come up with a press release for each. Press releases are not just an effort to get picked up by the media, but also a way to raise awareness and generate links pointing back to my sites. There are several free press release distribution sites that I can choose from.
- Submit marketing articles on similar topics. Marketing articles are another part of many link building campaigns. These articles are submitted for free to article distribution sites, and can be reproduced as long as the author’s resource box (bio) is kept intact, along with any URLs or contextual links. This benefits my sites by raising awareness and increasing my visibility, but also by boosting my link popularity in the eyes of the search engines.
- Get help if I need it. Promoting and marketing one website is one thing. Marketing a handful of websites… Well, I expect it’s going to get a little bit more complicated! If I need help, I will be sure to seek out a search engine marketing company. It’ll be worth paying for an Internet marketing service if it gives me more time to post and do other things more directly related to my business!
