Unfortunately, there are also some very bad powerpoint templates available for you to download. Using these can jeopardize the quality of your project so you’ll want to make sure to avoid them.

Here are some features to look for in good powerpoint templates:

• Great design. If you like how it looks, that’s a good starting point.
• Variety of fonts. You want to be able to choose the right font design for your message.
• Availability of multiple pre-designed slides. For some presentations, you’ll want a question slide. For others, you’ll want a call-to-action slide. Make sure that these are built in to the design.
• Ability to incorporate images in video. One of the best powerpoint tips out there is to go heavy on images so you need to make sure that you can do that with the template you choose.
• Slide transitions. A good presentation has great transitions between slides. You’re in trouble if yours doesn’t.

Great powerpoint templates don’t have to cost you money. They do, however, cost you a little bit of time if you’re going to find the one that’s perfect for your work.
