My Early Career
Posted by Profiteer on 04/24/09 in General
In my earlier years, I was a part of a team of telemarketing consultants. I learned a lot about how phone jobs worked, and how the system can be finely tuned to make it extremely efficient. When I got some experience under my belt, and after I witness many calls first hand, I decided to move into sales consulting. In college I was referred to as the used car salesman, so I wanted to show people my techniques on how to make the most of what you have to offer. It really is all in presenting. While on the job, I became witness to a company that had been using an outsource telesales firm. The firm’s taskforce of sales people were amazing.
The whole operation worked like a finely tuned machine that accepted incoming calls, and routed them to an amazing staff of sales people. It wasn’t too long after that I became a part of that sales force. I was able to offer up many different techniques, and, consequently, climbed the corporate ladder. Now I am the manager of 3 sales teams that span 10 different regions, and it all started from a little job I had consulting about ten years ago in Albuquerque.
