Finally, Better Days are Ahead

I have a feeling that things are finally going to go right with this project. My equipment manager picked up a few extra concrete grinding tools that we pretty desperately needed. They were top of the line and worked like a dream, something I couldn’t say about the tools we had on our last project.
Also, we managed to bring all of our concrete forms for once. Last time they were left in the truck, which drove off to pick up something or someone from somewhere. Whatever he had to do, he didn’t bother to check the back and make sure we had unloaded all of our equipment, so off he went.
That wasn’t the last of it. We had some of our concrete tools stolen. Not by an employee, but by an employee’s daughter who used to tools to shred up some sidewalk she was upset about, because it had her initials in it in a heart, written by her ex boyfriend. Since she didn’t know how to use the tools correctly, even when we did get them back, they were pretty badly broken.
And last but not least, we were out of coffee. So nothing got done. I have a feeling this time is going to be better. If for no other reason than I bought extra coffee.
