My brother died of a drug overdose when I was young.  It was horrible, and I never want another family to go through what our family did. I went to school to get into the healthcare field so I could deal with drug and alcohol addiction,  but now I have my first job and I’m scared.  My job is at a Florida drug rehab center and I work with the youth that come through there. I think Florida drug treatment is some of the best around, and I want to make sure I’m up for the task.  I am well-trained and good at what I do; it’s just such a daunting task when you have people that really need your help. 

My colleagues say that I am great at what I do and people who I work with and help are lucky to have me.  I say I’m lucky to have them.  They inspire me.  Florida drug treatment centers are full of people who need help.  I feel honored to be one of the ones there to give them the help they need.  I wish someone could have been there for my brother and family.
