If you are either a professional or an amateur photographer, Halloween offers plenty of opportunities for a holiday boost in business.  People love having their portraits taken, so you could easily run Halloween package specials to invite people to get their pictures done around Halloween.

For instance, I think there would be a number of parents who would love to have their babies’ photos taken in baby Halloween costumes.  The costumes made for babies and toddlers are just so cute, and of course what parent doesn’t want to remember forever their baby’s first Halloween?

You might also do group or family photos of people dressed in their Halloween costumes.  Couples costumes would make for great photos, whether for the photo album or scrapbook, or to frame and display.  You never know — you might even end up doing some risque photographs of people in their sexy costumes!

If I were a professional or even an amateur photographer, October would be an exciting time for me.  Not only are the fall colors fantastic for photography, but Halloween costumes would make the normal portrait session so much more interesting!
